Huw Shipps / Huw Shipps – The Sleepwalking Waltz EP / Drifted Records DR008 – Vinyl

Drifted’s eighth instalment welcomes Manchester’s wonder-kid, Huw Shipps to the imprint for The Sleepwalking Waltz EP. A tightly worked selection of sophisticated, rolling tech house fluttered with crisp percussion and warped atmospheres. Mella Dee also steps in on remix duties with his own take on the A1 – reshaping the original with added weight, and his hypnotic spanglecore feel. Four cuts built for the club, and another chapter in the Drifted catalog.
